Organisers

The Lichfield Mysteries are organised by the Directors of the Limited company. The Directors of the limited company are not the Directors of the plays themselves. We will be looking for Directors for the 2009 cycle of plays some time from now on, funds permitting.

The Directors of the company meet once a month throughout the three years between each cycle of plays. During the periods between each cycle of plays, the Directors raise funds for the plays and organise the next cycle of plays. The Directors continue to look for storage sites for the costumes and props and have moved these several times over the years. We are fortunate that we have very kindly been allowed to store our equipment at Bromley Wharf since the 2003 performances. We are already arranging venues for the 2009 performances and with legal aspects and other aspects such as road closures and provision of facilities in preparation for the performances.

We are at present raising funds for the next cycle of plays and are pleased to be able to say that we have already raised some of the sponsorship necessary to ensure the performance in 2009 can take place. We have already received some donations from local organisations and have also had a number of donations made via the "Angels" scheme.
